At this period of time, really very busy, need to promote my new album, on the other hand also need to consider my concert's matter, of course still have my home's 'small' matter la! Thursday is RTHK Lee Chi Gong's live, RTHK press conference, yesterday's CR (Commercial Radio (CR) FM 903) AKA Chik Chak), recorded some programmes, such as Vani and Maggie, this time CR is my concert's official radio station, so next week will go there also, I think 4th will have a Mini's programme etc., of course after that will have Metro, Roadshow, TVB show, MV filming, and TVB music special that already discussed for 2 years...I think this time really can film it successfully gua ! Also, I will invite some friends that seldom work with each other or very long time didn't cooperate with each other to be my concert's guests, looking forward to it!

Of course i'm still looking forward to tomorrow's fan club gathering la !

Later need to go to Mainland (China) to earn $ (money), can't attend Metro's press conference, I'm so sorry, next time la!

First time singing "Goodbye Concert Hall" at last night's show, really got a little nervous, scared I will forget the lyrics, also because at the "Bak Kui show" need to sing full version, and "TVB" was only 2 and a half minutes version, lyric's grouping is different, very scared will be wrong, luckily nothing happened. The only minor problem was when i was singing at the "TVB show", audio friend forget to turn off Joey's microphone, hence...i'm able to listen to what Joey and Wong Jo Lam were discussing about while i'm singing, besides i heard them talking about my song too! I have sung for 20 years and this matter, really was the first time it happened, by the way, once already enough, it's terrible (wui sei yan)!
Also, these few days received many presents for Ryan from fans, thank you so much!

On Monday night, everyone prepared a lot of roses, nice clothes, musical instruments, went to CK's Chai Wan studio, took pictures for the "Your Hacken Concert Hall" concert poster.

Behind me are some musicians in my concert. Gathering six of us to take a picture together already was a very difficult matter because they all often go to different countries to perform, from the last mid-month until now only on Monday everyone was present, finally, we took [pictures] for 5 hours, finally done, of course the one above was just a reference, the official one maybe will be much nicer.

The new album will be released tomorrow, 11 in the morning will have a Shuk Mui Jeh's phone in [an interview by telephone?], new song "Goodbye Concert Hall" already plugged, 24th still gonna sing live, very scared ar!


Ryan already 1 month old, last night had a simple 'Mun Yut Fan' with family, of course still have Red Egg!

Although this time is New Song + Special , only 3 new songs, can't believe that need many many many days to complete it! Through yesterday's hard work, finally completed!

The last completed song called ,composed by Edmond Tsang, lyric by Lam Yuo Ning, it's a soft piano + vocal song, it's a big test of skills in terms of playing music and singing, hope I could sing it live on next year's concert, sure it will be awesome!

About the release date? End of november! TV commercial already settled, maybe won't change...gua!

Next week have to take concert's poster, 24 have to attend Bak Kui (the drugs concert) show, after that maybe immediately have to go TVB to have another show, also CASH award ceremony, Mr.Tam (alan tam) received achivement award, of course I have to go to support! Wah,very busy!

2 December, fan club has a function, which is a big day for me to take presents, haha! Hope everyone could join!

Yesterday's recording really didn't go smoothly, the recording started from 1100 until 1800, still haven't completed!
Have a fast song to record, actually not difficult to sing, however we have to record many tracks, some songs were really high octave and some songs were low, also two sounds double track, in addition have recorded more than 10 times, moreover the lyrics changed for over 10 times too, I feel so sorry to Lam Yuo Ning because we keep changing it, Lam Yuo Ning sure will feel that Alex and I were very annoying, Sorry Sorry !
No choice,we also want the thing to be good !

Today was better, in the afternoon tried to sing Edmond's piano version, in the evening still can retake yesterday's cover version, Lam Yuo Ning again wrote me a new version's lyrics, once again, thank you so much!

I've always been a TV addict since i was young. Frankly, during those days, who isn't?

From 'A House is not a Home', 'kwong chiu', 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly', 'Legend of the Book and the Sword', 'Heaven Sword & Dragon Sabre', 'Police Cadet', 'Justice Of Life' etc, I have watched them all, from the beginning until the end, while having my dinner.

Now, after growing up, not much free time to spare for TV viewing, but I still watch a lot of TV programs. For example 'Heart of Greed', I have watched over half of it. While watching it, I can’t help but to think, how would it feel if I were to take up one of the roles? Kinda like to try out “Tack Tack Dei's” role!

I’m also a real big fan of American soap operas!
From 'Sex in the city', '24', 'CSI', 'Six Feet Under', 'Lost' until the recent 'Heros', I’ve watched them all. Even for those that are not as famous, such as 'O.C', 'Two and a half men', 'L word' were also among those programs that I’ve spent time watching. I've just finished 'entourage' season 3 last night. Each episode was about 20 minutes. Not too long, watching one to two episodes before sleep is not a bad thing to do! It is not like '24' and 'Prison Break', once you watch, you can’t stop until you finish everything!

After watching so many different shows all these years, the one I like best is still 'Friends'. It's simple, a cast of six and no more. 95% done in the studio, from his home to her home, but it is good enough to make you laugh until tears coming out, over and over again, within every 8 to 10 secs. And it ran for 10 years while each of the cast became rich and richer. If you have not watched it, congratulations, quickly go and buy a set, you will sure to be laughing non-stop!

So, there are HK dramas, American shows and soccer games. Now you know why i don't go out!

My Maternity Leave @ home

Since after last month's 20th TVB Yan Oi Tong Charity Show, I already started my maternity leave, but my maternity leave isn't "front 4 back 6" (it's normal for all working mum to take leave 4 weeks before the baby birth and 6 weeks after that as maternity leave). Starting next week, I have to go back to work. (should be, tomorrow night maybe will has a big chance to start my work! :) I think I'm just able to watch half the match of Man.U vs Arsenal)

New song + special (CD), another 2 songs to record, still waiting for the lyrics, maybe will record at the end of next week! Total 3 new songs, 1 is from Eric Kwok, 1 is from Edmond Tsang, and another is a cover version, hopefully end of November will be able to release.

This afternoon,we brought Ryan for a medical checkup, the doctor said Ryan was healthy and also heavy for 10 ounces, proving that we are quite good at taking care of him! haha!

My computer was having some problems last few days, therefore, I was unable to update the blog, and could not delete the comments (someone hacked into hacken's blog and posted some offensive comments!) as well, giving me a whole lot of headache. After fixing the problems this morning, somehow again, got into other technical problems, either I don't delete anything, or i was forced to delete all, finally... this is the outcome of it.

Please do not feel sorry about it because I have already read every single comment, every blessing, every word, and will keep them well in my heart. Of course, if you don't mind the trouble and would like to leave your comment again, you are always welcome to do so.

Also, I've got another idea. When you are leaving your comment, can you also leave your location? For example: Siew Ming@Bak Kok, Irene@Toronto, etc, so that I'll be able to know where you are from, ok?

Taking care of a baby is really a busy task, busier than filming a drama, but sometimes I also don't know why I'm so busy. Overall, it's all the 'sap sap sui sui', 'hang lei hang hui' thing (walk here and walk there), haha!

Finally, we are home!
After staying in the hospital for approximately 6 days, we are finally allowed to come home. Thanks to Dr. Leung, Dr. Hiew and Dr. Pang, and of course those nurses, sisters, aunties and secure 'kor kor' (security "big brothers" haha.), helping us through our "first time" safely. Thank you so much!

Thank you all the friends from the media for understanding and giving us 'some' privacy. Though I knew that there was a particular magazine that used a 'lifter' to get to my house for pictures, but... Anyway, we were not home yet, so...kinda lucky in a way for us, as they've missed us! But really hope that this won't happen again. Thank you very much!

I would like to tell all my friends who care about us that Ryan is a good boy and Emily is fine, I too, did not suffer from any post-maternity disorder, haha!

A little bit overloaded is for sure, but... kinda happy to be overloaded in a way!

Becoming a father is truly an amazing thing!
Seeing Ryan getting bigger and bigger everyday (should say every second) gives me a very special feeling that is hard to describe. Ryan looks different everyday. And I just couldn't stop taking down every cute expression of his, thanks to the help from my new camera!
A lot of friends visited us and brought gifts for Ryan. But of course not like what the magazine stated. Talking about the magazine, today, there was another magazine that reported on the entire process of our story, so detailed, just like they were staying at our house, haha!
Actually we've also prepared some gifts to repay our friends. We've already ordered chocolates and bubble gum cigars from the USA. But didn't expect Ryan to be born so early, so we can only change the date by ourselves!

I am a father now!
On the morning of October 22, Ryan came to the world slightly earlier. He weighs about 3kg, both mother and son are alright.

I'm not someone who likes to simply waste money, or rather, I'm well over the age of wasting money! However, I cannot resist myself from doing so and kept changing and updating my electronics!
There's no need to mention mobile phones and PDAs. The computer, from 20 years ago till now, it has changed from a PC to a Mac, I could not remember how many units I've changed. Also, the walkman from the past, discman, vcd player, dvd player and later the MP3 player, ipod etc. I've not yet included my Hi-Fi camera, video cam..., my heart started to ache just thinking of all these but I just can't stop!
The latest member is the CANON EOS40D, it's very fun and the photo quality is quite good. Maybe I'll buy the advance lens later and fire back at the paparazzi! Wow! A man has many excuses indeed!
I should be performing during the last part tomorrow night. I was on the cover 2 days ago [of a magazine], I think the reporters tonight are sure to come to me with a list of weird questions. I gotta think of how to reply them!

Yesterday, I did a "happy" show!
The International China Martial Arts Grand Ceremony took place at Shenzhen Bao An Stadium yesterday. Many highly skilled martial arts experts were present. I feel very honoured to be one of the guests but I'm even happier to be able to meet Mr. Jin Yong!

I was already mesmerized by his works when I was still a student (which guy doesn't fancy his work?), like Legend of The Condor Heroes, Condor Heroes, The Heavenly Sword of Dragon Sabre, Romance of the Book and Sword and so on, I've read them all not only once, but several times. And I hoped that one day, I'll be able to meet the master behind them. Hence, when I knew that I will be meeting him that day, I was already very happy for a few days. I even brought along the old novel that my father left me, hoping that he would autograph it for me.

Before I performed, the exciting moment came...

He was very friendly, graceful, and shaked my hand affably. He agreed to my requests on taking photos and autograph, and even wrote me this:

Jin Yong" (hm, i don't know how to read 1 word in that line he wrote but i guess the meaning is something like this)

Really extremely happy!

0700 (7am),finally I'm back home!
This time went to SF,overall only 36 hours,the advantage is that there is no need to get used to the jet lag,(on the) 5th fly from HK,SF time was 5th 1400 (2pm) arrived,in the afternoon went for press con [conference]...

After the press con we also visited the place that a group of ''Family Bridge'' Brother & Sisters (he means all those old ladies & gentlemen) stayed,they look very energetic and warmly welcomed me,I also sang 'Gao Fun Yu Mong' along happily,I think among all my songs they only knew this one!

Later then went to the nearby mall to walk around,bought some AF T-shirts,after an hour went back to hotel, ordered room service,here i wanna say sorry to the sponsors,because we didn't fo to their welcome dinner, everyone was very tired.
Actually this charity concert,of course everything is for gathering donations for the charity as the main highlight,so don't have a big budget,can't bring dancers,can't bring sound man,band only can have 7 members,because of this, my assistant Terry had to follow up on communications, costumes, FM and even help me to change,it was really tough on him,that's why before the show started also don't have time to take pictures. There's room for improvement for the the venue, we requested 24 monitors, at the end only have 13,hence everyone on stage had difficulty hearing,and the house's sound system can be better,my SF friends said they can't listen clearly,but these didn't effect the atmosphere,SF fans are really very passionate! Actually I already prepared for the 2nd encore,but some mature's audiences already started to left,i think they scared too late! Next time sing again la!
The show started at 1930 (7:30pm),end at 2200 (10pm),it's my first time bathing at the venue of the performance after the show and leaving after that,2330 (11:30pm) arrived at the airport's lounge, only able to sit down nicely and eat a cup of instant noodles,0120 (1:20am) board the plane, so overall it's 36 hours.
Lastly wanna thank all ''Family Bridge'' staff,thanks for your kindness,unfortunately can't stay longer!

First of all wanna thank you for everyone's messages! Seems like I will have to write more!
These few days, watching the Presidents Cup, it's a golf tournament once every 2 years only, this time will be the US team vs International team. Actually, watching live shows for golf tournaments is very 'difficult' entertainment, firstly, normally it will be at night even starting at midnight, will have 4 days matches, a few hours for a day, have to watch it completely, not that easy!
So, normally i will record the whole tournament and enjoy watching it later, also can skip the commercials and skip all the boring player and clips, also [only when u] can fast forward, then will have a chance to watch it completely! (actually i just watched until day 3, still have day 4 haven't watched yet, but i watch until i forget which ones i watched and which one i haven't watch yet!)

Next year's concert

Man Utd won a match prior to yesterday's night and needless to say, I'm very happy. Hence, I wore a black t-shirt with Rooney on it to work yesterday! (football fans are like that, we're that 'stupid'!)
Recently, I've been meeting up with various music professionals in preparation for next year's concert. We all hope to find suitable people to perform suitable songs, bringing a surprise for everyone. The concert this time is most likely to be the one I desire in my heart. The show has music as the main highlight for the night. It would be best to have a band of 10 people consisting of professionals for the different instruments. Hope to also have a beautiful yet simple stage and effects that go well with the songs (not those unnecessary ones) and time to interact with the audiences, and guests who have a certain status etc...so on and so on...It's easier said than done, but I will do my best to achieve it.
Remember, the second day of the lunar new year will be the first day of the concert! Please support!

Regarding some of your questions:
- I'll be unable to attend the walkaton for Wah Yan College. I'm performing at San Francisco on the 6th

Opening my blog on Mid-Autumn's Festival

After so many years, this is the first time which I do not have to work on Mid-Autumn Festival's night. Hence, I invited a group of friends to come party at my place. We initially decided to have BBQ but the weather was bad. In the end, we had a "buffet" instead where everyone brings a food item over. Liza Wang brought Smoked Chicken which tasted very good. Benny's roasted meat 就比較”行”了. (maybe he's saying the roast meat was better) Gigi brought desserts and timing did average. The one with the least contribution was Poon Ka Tak, he actually brought~tea leaves!
It's been a long time since I got to promote my songs 3 days in a row on TV. On Monday, I attended JSG, Wai Yin, and Basic Law show. And today, I don't have to work. I can watch soccer at home. Hope that Man Utd will win the match later, treat it as a congratulations to the opening of my blog!

Just came back from TVB.
The recording for some shows these few days were completed quite fast, yesterday night was "Wai yin nga jap", tonight is "Gei boon fat", and still sang "Ji fan" ("paper marriage").
In relation to "Joh suen tuen" (I've no idea what is this), as I thought that Mrs. Yip is the suitable candidate, thus I've already let the reporters knew about it, you all can have a look at the newspaper 2 days later.

Everybody need not worry, there's nothing wrong with me, just that i contracted some skin related disease, feeling all itchy over. I've taken medicine already and feel very "cow" (i think he means drowsy). I believe that I'll be alright in a few days.
I know that fans who turned up in the jackets yesterday must've felt hot. We're thinking, can add a T-shirt so that fans won't suffer during summer, but looking from the TV, the jackets look very orderly and nice.

It isn't that big a problem. We don't think a clash of CD names will affect sales much!

Yesterday I departed for HK very early and reached the airport at 1:30 a.m. At 3:00 a.m. I was already recording at TVB and then I had to record the Olympics themesong. I've been so busy, I'm going crazy, and I'm also completely exhausted.
The Genting show, the atmosphere was one of kind. I received lots of presents: flowers, soft toys, snacks, cakes, desserts, and red packets, etc. etc. Thanks a lot!
But this time, the music on stage wasn't as good as I expected. The audio from my earphones was sometimes loud and sometimes soft. I wasted half of my stage time trying to get used to it. So personally I'm not satisfied with the show's first half, but the second half of the show was much better.
I still like this type of "concert" where I sing more than I talk!
The 2nd encore was the best, actually there could have been a 3rd... haha!

This week's schedule is more relaxed, went to watch "bin ying gam gong" (Transformers) 2 days ago, the CG effect is good.
