Why was I off yesterday? Because I had to rehearse for tonight's Community Chest Fundraising Show with tak lan jeh jeh ("sister tak lan" aka Cheung Tak Lan..so cute how he says that!)!
At night I also went to Sammi's concert, the production was very high quality, so interesting!

Tonight I'll appear in the opening, the 6th part and 11th part. c u!

These few days, received lot of "ling sik" (between-meal snacks). "Chung Sai Kui" show received blueberries, ground nuts, and candy. Two days back, Sister Lisa Wong sent me cha kor (chinese cake) and a fan gave me a chicken drumstick but can't eat it 'cause its for the computer, a wrist rest! Tomorrow will see you all again, really looking forward to it! haha!

Tomorrow, will attend one live programme of RTHK 1300 "Lei Ji Gong", and after that will have some radio stations recording interviews. Besides, I don't have any flu, don't believe what the reports in those magazines and newsapapers write.

Who's my partner for the charity show ? It's Sister Cheung Tak Leung! ! !
"sentiment if really...Needs to feel sorry not to have met sooner..." the song should be sing like this!

Yesterday attended TVB "Chung Sai Kui" show and sang 2 songs, "Fa Lok Sui Ga" (Where Have the Flowers Gone) and "Ching Fei" (short for the Chinese title of No Love in Seoul). Actually the 2nd one, could not be sung in public (it will be cut from the program when aired cuz the program ran a little long?). Was a bit nervous when singing the 1st song as scared that I will forget the lyrics. I think when I sing it again on the 26th it will be better.

Country's Wind Kwok Fung (pun on Brian Chou's Chinese name)
Host: Brian Chou
Program synopsis: Country's Wind Kwok Fung is a program that introduces Chinese culture, music, society, arts, and interesting information about entertainment and includes: Chinese criminal cases (not quite sure if that's the right translation), Chinese ingredients, famous Chinese people's childhood stories, Brian's studies (lesser known Chinese information) and Brian's strange talk (about interesting Chinese people and things) etc...

I managed to catch some of Hacken's interview last night (trying to stream the rest at the moment). They chatted about paparazzi, kids, music, upcoming album... it was all very casual...]

Hacken's special MOTHER'S DAY message 4 his mom!!! ~_~

"Leng Lui" (pretty girl)

From the beginning you have been my number 1 faithful fan, so this year I will put a lot of effort into a new CD to give to you as a present. On the day of Mother's Day, we'll do the same as before, having dinnner as a family. To be honest, there's nothing special about it since we always have dinner together anyway, because to me, everyday is Mother's Day.

From "Leng Zai" (handsome boy)

[kate's comment: waaah. such a sweet message 2 his mom!!
he always eats dinner w/his family? wow, didn't think he'd have time, but that's really nice that he sees his parents often!!! haha. from "leng zai"!]

Genting Concert - certainly can sing new songs! My meaning is the "backbone" can be similar with America and Canada (he means about the same doesn't means exactly), the song arrangement certainly has its distinction, but post here what you want to listen to, what songs do Malaysia fans want? (depend on what M'sian fans want to listen to what songs)

Hacken's Message: May 12, 2007; 10:37am

What's [keeping me] busy this week?
Certainly, it's still continuing working on the new CD! Also have a succession of this whole year concerts meeting, include July's Genting Concert and at the beginning of next year's Hong Kong Concert. Genting Concert's rundown should be similar to US/Canada (i think he means Atlantic City Concert). As for the Hong Kong Concert, now can only say it definately will be using Music as the theme (primarily), you won't find "flowered skillful" such as airplanes or cannons (he means don't expect extreme skills/outrageous things). Everyone please voice out suggestions/opinions by leaving messages.

"Where have the flowers gone" will hit the stations on Monday. It looks like the new album won't make June, probably July then!

Most recent news: The new song- in 2 days everybody can listen to it at all big radio stations!

Where have all the flowers gone?

Music: Eric Kwok
Lyrics: Lin Ruo Ling

Below the steel tower, the jade-green mountain ridge, altered into a petrol station
Above the steel tower, a pair of parrots, run seperately from impending disaster
Below the steel tower, a sparkling city, doesn't understand how to stop and breathe
Flowers' petals disperse - who cares? who notices?

Tales of prosperity, brought about, by the development of 80 stories with roofs
Tales of earning a living - the only change? Being that fairytales are lost in this world
Tales of improving - the birds are simply sacrificed (a)
Its face has already given your memory a jolt

When the cherry blossoms are forced to move to the serenity of the moon
We have not treasured the earth enough
When the daisies have been buried
To attain prosperity - will anyone regret?
Only wishing that our lights keep shining on earth
Not wishing that the gardens expand to cover more acres
Only when the flowers have died, do we regret not treasuring them.

This April is relatively dry, a kiss causes a wound
This August's weather is cold, farewell to the hot summer
Christmas eve is blistering hot, but we still hang the lights
If that day it snows, would you be worried?

When the cherry blossoms are forced to move to the serenity of the moon
We have not treasured the earth enough
After the fireworks of riot have flashed past
You can see the grey clouds are layers thick
Blowing up the mountains, logging the trees
Unable to save the flowers after they've fallen
Although we have it now, one day it will become rare.
(Even if there's a kiss, there wont be enough air)

(a) - Chinese lyrics refer to the black-faced spoonbill, a bird fast becoming extinct around HK, Taiwan and Korea. And I think the lyrics are talking about Taiwan (though quote, but dont blame me if that's wrong...lol) because of the repeated mention of an "iron tower", probably referring to Taipei 101 which is the tallest tower in the world.

Hacken's message: April 30, 2007; 10:18am

Yesterday was really busy. In the morning, I went to Wong Chun Chun's "Woman's True Character" (not sure what the official English title is, I've just translated it literally) and played a CEO. Last night, I went to Albert Au's concert as a guest. I've known Albert for so long and I think this is the first time that I've sung with him on stage!
