SINCERELY, HACKEN (a card, drawings and messages in CDs written by Hacken)

Hacken wrote about some things that have been with him a long time in his CD from 2003, Everlast. =) above are some pics of the things he talks about. the left pic on top is the CD cover of his Hope (or Wish) CD.

I really like the technology that brings us convenience and joy, last night,
watched Manchester United and Arsenal play on this 100 inch big screen TV.
Everyday don't need to go outside to hear all news in Hong Kong. No matter where I am, still can phone back to say I'm safe. Still can, on this machine put in my most loved........Lucky
"carrying" my slipper looking at my shaking head, swing tail's Wallpaper [I DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS PART MEANS???], and can play around for a week on this PDA's manual! But technology makes me and these object's feeling really short. My cell phone can't even last 3 months, In my house has a few can't upgrade desktop. I wish new year I can have the newest PDA to watch Manchester United and Arsenal!

But with some other things the feeling can last longer.......

I remember I used to have this bag, holding a pair of Addidas sport boot, going to Wong Kok's Big Soccer Court, representing superstar soccer team, first half at 18 minutes, getting the ball from Ah Lek, use right foot and kick and get in one ball, going home and i see in the news, talking about me! Wow! Great!

dictionary:
This book is very useful. Since my first EP, up until this recent writing the soccer cartoon themesong, i have been using it. Because my Chinese is not very good, I depend on this book to help me write lyrics. If anyone else is like me, whose Chinese is not very good, and
want to write lyrics, don't hesitate to buy one to help.

gun:
Cats are very cute. However, at midnight when it makes sounds [Flirt....he says it so funny] it will make u not have a good sleep! I used to live in a village and there were a lot of cats.............Thank you, this gun.............for helping me scare them away!

pair of slippers:
I am a person afraid of cold weather, that is why the first time i went to Australia i bought a pair of slippers and brought it back home, all the way until now, think about the smell of it!

jacket:
A lot of people know I love Man Luen (the England soccer club Manchester United) , but really the first soccer team i like is Hk's Laam Wa, until now i remember Su Zi Keung, Leung Nang Yan, Ma Zi Ming, wearing the red coat with white color on the sleeves soccer uniform..........but i hear they like Ah Sin Lo..........!

toy:
When i was little i didn't have money to buy, this is after i grew up and bought it from Japan's Chiu Hap Gam, but just don't understand sky and earth car and airplane can be this big?

photo album -- Of all the gifts fans gave me, the most memorable one is the photo album, when people get old they need these things to add more memory!

soldier jacket:
Have you ever noticed that every boy has a soldier Jacket, even they never served in war?

soccer shoe keychain and keys:
1:99 is the recent's hot goal's comparing number, this one is about 1:4!

set of pajamas:
as you know I am a person afraid of cold weather. however, you could not believe i still wear these thick pajamas in the summer, but this world has something called [air conditioner]!

alarm clock:
I have always been a punctual person, because i have an alarm clock that can make the
ultimate noisy sound to wake me up each day. however as u can see, it's missing a wing. Back in the old days, I come back from work and had not slept for a long time. then the alarm clock rings. i was tired then, and of course got mad at the sound and in my bad mood, i uncarefully flung it hard and it hit something. i heard something fall on the floor........and from that day the alarm clock looks like this, without a wing!

Hacken wrote a lot in his 1994 CD, Hope (or Wish)! [translated by Longfumoon]:

First I have to thank everyone, buying my cd. In this
album I have a wish, is after
everyone have listened to it that it's worthwhile.
unnoticedly I've been in show biz
for 8 years already, last year was the first time to
have a concert, really happy
to have so much people support. It was, say it's a wish
accomplished, and also a
breakthrough!......well not really! ........In my music
life's......little highlight!
......No......it's......what is it?
After the concert, I want to be in a level, not just
the commercial-taste love song,
or a Hacken style love song. So when planning to release
this album, Me and Chow Jun-San
had a lot of meetings, decided in this album-- add in
some new things, new ideas, with
only one goal, my intensity on music can get your
acceptance.
The album has 11 songs, each one is mine and Jun-San's
heart and soul. And hope each one
can bring you a surprise!


1) Hope (Hacken Lyrist)

[Hacken wrote a lot of short questions that Longfumoon
forgot to translate, then he wrote the following]:

I think it's not imporant what this song represents,
most important is the meaning,
It's been a long time since Hong Kong have such a
heavy taste in Russian music.
So when play, hear me sing this song, I'm in Russian
costume. With a little artistic
singing style. I......hehe....i'm really happy!

2) Scary Relation (Hacken Lyrist)

One day, in Chow Jun-San's house find a movie about
vampire. Then think if movie can
have this topic, why can't a song. After many
attempts, we plan to make this song
During making this song, I felt really surprise, like
lyric has freedom, the singing
style can be alittle more sexy,
Sexy + Scary + Hacken....what it becomes?
listen to it!

3) Actually You'd Done Nothing

Actually every day you wake up so early what have you
done?
Actually every night sleeping so late what have you
done?
Actually you're like a cow, always work hard but what have
you done?
Actually you like your girlfriend What have
she done?
so.....

04) The End of the World (Hacken Lyrist)

Sometimes feeling city people, lifestyle is so tense,
go to work , get out of work. All day's
life is trap in work. Have no time to connect with
things outside of work. That's why this song
is created. From the lyrics, music, to singing style,
have two parts. First is like working that's
why the style of singing is so lazy. Have a bored
feeling.

5) Don't Be Like This

Early this year the incident is the football stadium.
Believe everyone has a different point of view
Some say should be open, some say it shouldn't. This
song has used Rap Talk style to show how I feel
about this incident. Some people may feel this song is
kinda weird. Actually I want to put the two
views to see. Justice Bao is really famous, But people
who don't watch it might feel a little annoyed?

6) Oh Candice

I think this song is a really Sweet little product and I
hope each song has it's own style.
So in arrangment added in some Hawaii feel, don't know
if when you listen to this song, Candice,
Will it make you want to dance?

7) I Love You

Early this year, went to USA Universal film headquarter
to watch a show, saw 2 men and 2 women
No music, and sang for a whole night. Only the main
voice and background voice. After that I
felt really good. So thought of this song. it might not
be so Commercial, it's a new try for me!


8) Never Forget You

Now Hong Kong music has a lot of piano, guitar,
electronic instruments put together, Not too much
Hamonica. For making this song have a European feeling,
Chow Jun-San used it as the backbone. Making the
romantic feel go to another level

9) The Long lonely back alley

Actually this time a lot of the songs' key is really
low, not like 'Red Day'!
Cause want to try that don't need the key to be high
to make it sound good.
Want to find another type of music with low key, and
this one is the trademark.

10) Cinderella (Hacken Lyrist)

Some say women are made up of water,
some say they are really scared when seeing women cry.
And I think when women cry it's the most romantic,
especially just before the break up,
every tear makes a dent into the brain. This song is to
capture these feelings. Cinderella has
to leave her lover at midnight. Some say it's
romantic, some say it's sad. Can't it be called
a sadness romance? One thing has to be mentioned, the
singing style, it's different then all
the old love songs by me. The technique is as if it's
zero, a totally natural singing style.

11) Human One life, everything is guts [meaning you have to be daring in life]
[themesong of the TVB series he starred in, Master of Martial Arts

Everyone knows this is a themesong of a tv series, To make
it have a better atmosphere, Chow Jun-San
put in the old Hong Kong kung-fu movie's sound to make
it into music, and have got James Wong to
write such powerful lyrics.

If I didn't work with Chow Jun-San, really don't know we
can create such firework!
