last year i have tried staying in San Francisco for only 36 hrs, this time its even more "geng－劲“ [difficult/worse?], i was in LV for only 34 hrs. within 3 days i flew from HK~LV~HK and it was all within less than 5 hrs apart, 勁呀 ["ging ah" = so cool or so great]！
but the whole thing was pretty tiring, earning money is never easy! when i arrived in LA we were told that we were unable to travel by car to LV due to the snow storm, causing jams on the road. thus we had to travel through the domestic flight. however traveling by air caused us to wait for 7 hrs before we could board the plane. in the end, according to american time, it was 25th dec, at about 9 plus (in the night) that we finally reached LV. upon arrival we had to follow up with the rehearsal.
the show on the 26th started off pretty slowly as the audiences in the US always do. previously in the Atlantic City show it was also like that. it was only after half an hour later did the audience become more enthusiastic. from the second half till the encore were the best moments. the whole show only ended at 1120. i sincerely thank those who came to show their support and also those who specially flew in to watch the show, especially sister Gigi and my secondary school principal Yu sir.
after the show, due to the different time zone, i couldn't sleep till 6 in the morning when we were leaving for the airport to take the 0725 plane from LV to SF and then back to HK. however the "black" lady at the immigration was to "warm" in "greeting" us, she was too "detailed" when going through our luggage, that she wasted a lot of time...eventually causing us to miss our flight!
hence we had to rush + check for any other flights, purchasing the air tickets again, checking in again, and of course check in our luggage again, for another flight at 0930, hoping that we would reach SF punctually at 1110. after that we would have to rush for the original connecting flight at 12 back to HK. we only had 45 mins interval for the transit and the flight was at a different terminal,so we had to rush like mad people to make it in time for our connecting flight...luckily, it all went the right way, we reached HK on 28th at about 7pm, according to HK time.
this story has taught us a lesson, next time....if u are going or coming back from US, u MUST remember to be at the airport much earlier, much earlier, much earlier,much earlier,much earlier, much earlier, much earlier, much earlier, much earlier, much earlier, much earlier, much earlier, much earlier, much earlier, much earlier, much earlier.
